June Round-Up at The Franklin Theatre

Things at The Franklin Theatre began to heat up in the month of June! We played host to a star-studded CMA Fest Week, icons in the music and entertainment industry, and had an incredible Juneteenth Celebration at our historic venue! Let’s look back at what proved to be another tremendous month on Main Street!

Charles Esten: We kicked off the month of June in style as we celebrated country music’s biggest week of the year! During CMA Fest Week at The Franklin Theatre, Charles Esten captivated audiences with his “loose, rough-cut country” style, showcasing songs from his acclaimed independent debut album, Love Ain’t Pretty. Known for his acting roles in Outer Banks and Nashville, Esten’s concert reflected his multifaceted artistry and dedication, further solidifying his reputation as a beloved entertainer and humanitarian. He was joined by special guests Julie Cole, and former Nashville co-star, Sam Palladio.

Tom Dreesen: Tom Dreesen's recent concert at The Franklin Theatre was a poignant blend of stand-up comedy and heartfelt storytelling. From his humble beginnings shining shoes in Harvey, Illinois, to touring the nation as Frank Sinatra's opening act, Dreesen captivated our patrons with tales of laughter and tears. His deep bond with Sinatra, from jet-setting to heartfelt moments at Sinatra's last performance and funeral, offered a unique glimpse into showbiz history.
