In addition to published ticket prices, patrons will notice additional fees added to the price of events. Preservation Fee Successful historic theaters require ongoing care and plans to fund future costs of repairs and equipment replacement. The Franklin Theatre adds a modest “preservation fee” to the cost ticket buyers pay for any and all tickets regardless of the point of purchase. Funds received from these fees are dedicated to major capital expenses and repairs and are retained solely by the Franklin Theatre for these purposes. Ticket Price Preservation Fee $0.01 – $10.99 $1.00 $11.00 to $50.99 $2.00 $51.00 and Higher $3.00 * Additional ticketing service fees are charged by Agile for online purchases services (see below). Online Purchase Service Fees (Agile) Online Purchase Service Fees are NOT charged to ticket buyers for purchases made in person at our box office or by phone (615-538-2076). For tickets that are purchased online via our website, additional fees above the published ticket price and preservation fee are charged through our ticket service provider (Agile). These fees are for maintaining ticketing systems and software, and go directly to our ticket service provider (Agile). Unless otherwise specified by a presenting client or artist, The Franklin Theatre does not require patrons to adhere to any specific protocols at this time. As recommended by the CDC, patrons should consider masking while attending large indoor gatherings, but masks are not currently required for patrons.

The Heritage Foundation and Franklin Theatre continue to actively monitor the situation and, in conjunction with clients and artist management, will make any necessary updates to this policy. There is free 2-hour street parking as well as paid parking lots available in downtown. There are also two garages, one on Second Avenue and one on Fourth Avenue that offer free 4-hour parking and are a short walking distance to the theatre.

Our concessions include pizza, fresh popcorn, candy, various soft drinks, beer and wine. Our full bar is open during select events. Also available at our concessions is our exclusive, locally produced chocolate bar called Showtime! Showtime features dark chocolate, almonds, caramel, and sea salt.

There is also a full bar in the upstairs lounge during select events.

Photography, video and audio recording of performances on any device, including smart phones, is NOT ALLOWED without written permission of the artist and/or producers of the event. For non-performances or general photography of facilities, please contact theater management to inquire about permission.

We have an elevator, fully handicap accessible restrooms and seating. Please notify our box office before you purchase tickets if anyone in your party requires special seating due to visual, auditory or physical impairments.

Gift cards are good for any event for which tickets are available and on sale to the public. Concessions items and Franklin Theatre merchandise may also be purchased with a gift card. And… they never expire! Click here to order gift cards now.

Tickets for events are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. An event must be Sold Out before we are able to resell tickets. If you are unable to attend an event, please contact the Box Office at 615-538-2076 as soon as possible and we will do our best to help you resell the tickets in exchange for a full refund. There is no guarantee that we will be able to resell your tickets.

If the event you plan to attend is canceled due to factors out of our control (illness, weather, etc.), we will inform you of the cancellation and refund your order in full. If your event is rescheduled, we will inform you of the rescheduled date and you will have the option to attend this new date or receive a refund.

The Franklin Theatre is not responsible for any items lost or stolen. Please turn in any articles found to our box office. Items found by other patrons or our staff will be placed in the box office and kept for 30 days. Unclaimed items will then be donated. Personal items, such as wallets, purses, cell phones and jewelry, will be returned to their proper owners who provide identification and an accurate description of the item.

The Franklin Theatre maintains an e-mail mailing list comprised only of those individuals who have specifically requested to be on it. E-blasts are generally sent out weekly and will keep recipients up to date on latest news, upcoming events, special offers, etc. We will not sell or share this list with anyone and you may unsubscribe at any time. There are a wide variety of shops and restaurants all along Main Street. Many of these stores remain open for your shopping pleasure until 6:00 PM or later. On weekends, several restaurants are open until 10:00 PM or later.
